group of people standing at a drinks party

Members came together at Dulwich College to celebrate 60 years of the Society at our Diamond Anniversary party. President Kenneth Wolfe spoke followed by our Chair James Thompson. Calista Lucy, Keeper of the College Archives, gave a spellbinding talk on Sir Ernest Shackleton’s polar adventures, in front of the actual James Caird lifeboat. Members were then entertained by a string quintet while mingling and chatting. A history display gave highlights of life in Dulwich and the wider world over the last six decades. Our thanks to Heather Stubbs for organising the party.
