The Society welcomes participation by members in running its activities, either as members of its groups or as trustees. The Society’s groups deal with specific activities and interests, such as Planning and Architecture, Local History, Gardens and the Journal Editor. Details of their activities and contact email addresses for each group are set out in this website. If you are interested in joining a group, please contact the relevant Chair (or the Society's Chair or Secretary). You would then be invited by the relevant Chair to attend the next meeting as a guest. A decision would then be made whether to invite you to join at that point, based on an assessment of your potential contribution and on the need for a balance of views and skills within the group.
The trustees of the Dulwich Society, a registered charity, manage the Society’s overall activities. The trustees are elected by the members of the Society at the Annual General Meeting and comprise the officers of the Society (currently the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer) and other trustees, each responsible for an activity. The nomination process for election is set out in the constitution - please contact the Chair or the Secretary of the Society in the first instance.
