The Dulwich Society held its AGM last evening at the Crown and Greyhound with 72 members present. Thank you to all who attended.
We welcome Kimberly Mears (Community) and Celia Randell (Gardens) as trustees and look forward to working with them, and we also welcome Jane Jones who takes over as Secretary and who was co-opted earlier this year. It is good to get new trustees with fresh ideas.
Sue Badman (Vice-Chair), Russell Lloyd (Treasurer) and Ian McInnes (Local History) retired by rotation and were re-elected. We are pleased to retain their valuable experience. We are sad to say goodbye as trustees to Heather Stubbs (Secretary) and Jeremy Prescott (Gardens). Both have served the Society well and will be missed greatly.
The business of the AGM was transacted satisfactorily with all motions passing comfortably. Both the ballots for the special motions for rule changes (which were counted after the close of the meeting) were passed by the appropriate super-majority (53-0 for resolution 8 and 48-3 for resolution 9). Thank you to Jeremy Prescott as lead scrutineer.
Draft minutes of the meeting will be posted in the AGM/SGM Minutes section of this website in due course.
