A bird count is more than just tallying numbers—it’s a way to discover the incredible variety of birds in our community while contributing to important wildlife research. By recording the species and numbers of birds in a set time and place, we can track population trends, migration routes, and overall bird diversity. Our Wildlife Group has been carefully documenting bird sightings in our area, and you’ll find their survey records in the files below. Counts like these help protect local habitats, contribute to nationwide conservation efforts and deepen our understanding of bird life in our region.
If you’d like to chat about these results, share your own sightings, or even join in on future counts, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us at
